Natalie Vance, the daughter of a wealthy tycoon, is forced to marry the powerful Edward Sterling. Because her husband is infertile, she is forced to have sex with Sebastian Reed, a male companion hired by her husband, in order to continue the family line. Initially deeply humiliated, Natalie gradually develops genuine feelings under Sebastian’s gentle protection. The two join forces to collect evidence of the Sterling family’s crimes against the Vance Group. At a charity gala, Natalie publicly exposes her husband’s brutality and conspiracy. She ultimately succeeds in divorcing him and begins a new life with Sebastian, completing her power transformation from a puppet of a wealthy family into an independent woman.
