The Godfather Shouldn't Love Me

56 episodes

At twenty eight, art crime attorney Sofia Moretti returns to Bellarosa to reclaim her family foundation, recover a twenty percent port stake, and solve her father’s murder. Her father died when she was twenty and appointed his closest friend, Roman De Luca, to manage the Moretti trust and protect its shares. Roman never raised Sofia, never served as her guardian, and never controlled her personal life. On the night of an engagement meant to seal an alliance between two families, Sofia walks into Roman’s office in a white gown and finds the feared Mafia Don bleeding beneath an open black shirt. She tries to create one scandalous photograph. He refuses the kiss. A bullet tears through the window before either can step away. The attack links seven missing sacred paintings to a secret list of families who violated the Saints Accord. As Sofia takes back her legal power and follows the evidence, her attraction to Roman becomes impossible to contain. Loving him may expose the man who killed her father. It also forces Roman to confess that his own reckless revenge cost innocent lives, surrender his power, serve his sentence, and make restitution before either can choose a future.
