Mom's Secret Battle

55 episodes

The gentle and kind urban white-collar worker Shen Qinglan has long suffered from her mother-in-law Wang Guifang's cold eyes due to her inability to conceive. Under the pressure of her mother-in-law's insistence that she 'must hold a grandson,' she decides to adopt a child, only to find out that she has adopted a five-year-old girl named Hui. Soon after, Shen Qinglan discovers that she can hear the adorable little one's thoughts. With the help of the child's thoughts, she gradually uncovers the cruel truth about her husband Xia Jian's affair with the company secretary Bai Miaomiao, his asset transfer, and his collusion with her mother-in-law to scheme against her. Shen Qinglan secretly collects evidence and, with her daughter's thoughts as her intelligence, wins in one after another game with the scoundrel, eventually making him leave and making Bai Miaomiao pay the price. In the end, Shen Qinglan and her daughter live a happy life.
