A Promise to Keep

31 episodes

I am a ritual bride, I make a living by helping men who die young carry on their bloodline. I've already completed the rites for 107 such men, each case earning me three hundred silver coins. By tradition, I must perform the wedding ceremony with the deceased, then complete the rituals in a prepared bridal chamber. On this day, I took on my 108th job, my 108th "husband." Only this time, it seems to be a bit different from the past.
