To escape an arranged marriage to an elderly man, Vivian takes a job as a hotel cleaner. On her first day, she encounters Adrian, who has been drugged. Despite his unusual allergy to women, Adrian finds himself mysteriously unaffected by Vivian. With Adrian's support, Vivian confronts those who wronged her and returns to school to continue her education.
