The Lion God Won’t Let Me Go

50 episodes

Leora, an orphaned daughter of a fallen noble house, is forced to become a sacrifice to save her little sister. At the brink of death, her burning blood awakens Arkan, the Lion God sealed away for a thousand years. Arkan suffers from a deadly curse of bone-deep cold, and only Leora’s warmth can ease his agony. He brands her as his divine bride in front of everyone, keeps her at his side, and gives her seven days to consummate their marriage and break the curse. But on their wedding night, the curse will pass entirely to Leora—freezing his mortal bride to death. Torn between love and exploitation, Leora feigns obedience and draws close to his heart. The moment she melts his icy defenses, she makes her move, driving a hairpin into him. In this tragic romance between god and mortal, where each life may be the price of the other, is there any way to break the deadly fate?
