Too Late for the Rain

40 episodes

Seven years ago, on a stormy night, Nora made 37 consecutive calls to her first love Julian, begging for help for her critically ill father, but received only one reply: "Stop pestering me. Get lost." The messages had all been deleted by the jealous rich girl Chloe, who impersonated Julian's tone and replied. Nora's father passed away, she dropped out of school to pay off debts, and worked three jobs a day. Seven years later, the successful Julian humiliated Nora, who was working as a waitress, at a class reunion, convinced that she had despised poverty and coveted wealth back then. After the truth was revealed, Julian frantically tried to make amends and even took a knife for her to atone, but Nora refused to forgive him. She opened a flower shop called After Rain and truly began to live for herself.
