Ye Jiayang hides her identity while dating Zheng Hao for a year. When they discuss marriage, Zheng Hao takes her to see their wedding home. To Ye Jiayang's surprise, the house Zheng Hao claims to have bought with all his savings belongs to her own family. To save Zheng Hao's face, she keeps silent. During the house visit, Zheng Hao's mother-in-law-to-be acts arrogantly and presents an unusual family rule list, demanding Ye Jiayang sign it and recite it flawlessly. Otherwise, the marriage is off.
